IN PROGRESS

Soft Life?
Working on it.

Turns out you can build a calm, intentional life even with a nervous system on high alert, a past which wounds, a full family calendar, a 9-5 job,
a small human, a tight budget, and all the in-betweens.
I'm figuring out how in real time.

A woman with curly hair in a beige shirt standing in front of large open windows in a bright living room, looking outside at greenery.

Where I am
right now.

Real talk: this isn't how I pictured myself. I hit burnout (again), my body sent out signals I couldn't ignore (hello, autoimmune issues), and I finally had to admit that the way I'd been living wasn't working.

So now I'm doing the slow, unglamorous work of putting myself back together, piece by piece: mentally, physically, spiritually.

In practice that looks like letting my guard down in talk therapy and learning from a functional medicine doctor. Morning meditation before the house wakes. Way too many wellness and biohacking podcasts; the real ones with actual professionals, and some of whatever's trending that week. Prayer and manifestation, side by side (yes, it’s allowed).

It’s all about the quiet, daily work of swapping out old habits, products, and mindsets, and getting to know myself again.

None of it's linear and none of it's pretty, but it's working, slowly, in real time.
I'm sharing the whole process here. You're welcome to figure it out alongside me.
